Denim Chore Coat With Rose Chainstitch
Denim Chore Coat With Rose Chainstitch
For over a hundred years, chore coats have been a staple in men’s waredrobes, and for good reason. They are classic, refined, and versatile pieces able to dress both up and down. For this Studio edition, we took a revised classic and added a curved front placket, a rounded collar, and deep, red corduroy accents throughout.
Made with 100% cotton denim from the infamous Japanese mill Kuroki. We prewashed this 12oz fabric to bring out its intense dark-blue indigo and to soften its hand for an impeccable drape. Finished with brown tortoise-shell buttons set against keyhole buttonholes.
On the back of the jacket, we fired up our 1940s Singer chainstitch embroidery machine and painstakingly stitched our workwear-inspired logo with a hand-drawn rose graphic.
Made completely by hand in our Washington State workshop, this classic piece is part of our Studio Collection of one-of-one garments.
